Unique and super successful show in empty concert hall took place in Helsinki on March 14, 2020. Arranging live stream in Facebook and YouTube, Vesterinen Yhtyeineen gloriously ended epic ‘Faaraoiden aika‘-tour which lasted more than a year! And this event gave to the band many new fans not only in Finland, but also from abroad.
Two final shows of the tour were planned on March, 13 in Tampere, and on March, 14 in Helsinki. Because of anti-koronavirus restrictions announced in Finland from March, 12 till May, 31, 2020, Vesterinen Yhtyeineen postponed two cancelled gigs to summer. The gig in Olympia, Tampere, should take place on June, 4. The gig in Korjaamo, Helsinki – on June, 27.
Apocalyptica rescheduled its mini-tour for March 2021.
JVG cancelled the Arenas tour.
Suddenly Vesterinen Yhtyeineen announced a virtual concert with free live stream from Korjaamo for Saturday evening. And it got super success.
The shooting with four cameras was very professional. The show was full of real emotions from the musicians and from the fans. 9 thousand viewers watched the stream on Facebook, and 1 thousand – on YouTube. Live chat was constantly updated with new grateful posts and virtual cheers and applauses. The band left the record online. In less than 24 hours it was watched more that 200k times on Facebook, and more that 8k times on YouTube. Facebook Live record was already shared 1200 times, and got more than 10k comments. Bravo, guys and girls of Vesterinen Yhtyeineen!
